Sound:
Because I use a wireless microphone system, one of the frequencies mentioned needs to be 'clear'.
This means that no other device around is working on the same frequency, or interfering with it.
Like for instance an other wireless microphone system, portophones, communication systems, etc..
No power supply is needed. For sound amplification I will bring a portable, battery-fed wireless sound system. In relatively quiet circumstances this system is sufficient for an audience of about 300 people. In more noisy surroundings I can also use my stronger (but not so portable ...) sound system. In loud surroundings or for a large audience a PA system is required.
Generally, quiet surroundings are best for the show.
But if this is not the case, it is important for me to know in advance what I can expect, so I can take precautions.
If you expect really loud surroundings, please, just do not hire me. A 20 person brassband next to me is lethal for the show (and for me) ...
Light:
I do not own a lighting installation.
With insufficient lighting additional lighting of at least 2 x 400 Watts is necessary.
The two light sources should be placed in front of me, in the left- and right corner, with the lights approx. 3 meters (10 ft.) above the surface.
Fire:
Juggling fire torches will be part of the finale.
Although I use the cleanest parafine available, this will still generate some smoke and smell.
This means it could be unpleasant in too small a place with too little ventilation.
Also fire or smoke detecting devices should be temporarily switched off.
In 'impossible' cases the fire finale can be replaced by a non-fire finale.
I am sorry, but I can not give a fixed rate per show or something like that.
The actual performing fee depends on several factors, such as place, date, total number of shows, days, etc.
But to give some indication, I stated some global prices, based upon a 'short' gig (one day).
For longer gigs a (considerable) discount apply.
It would go too far to describe all possible combinations and situations.
Please, contact me for a specific proposal.

Although nothing is sure in Tax-Country, in reality this means you can just book the total amount as costs. Note: However, sometimes still local taxes and levies will need to be paid.
